I Really Like This Guy So There Will Be No Humor In This Headline
Steigfried- No "Who Had Him" or I will think of you in a harsh light for almost ten whole minutes.
Gerald Ford is the first president I really ever remember, I was actually born sometime during the Nixon administration (Feb. of 1971) but can’t remember a lick of Tricky Dick (huh, I just used ‘lick’ and ‘Dick’ in the same sentence… bravo Me).
Anyway I think the long, stoic life of a great man may be in its twilight-
93 and undergoing "testing and evaluation.” I think that’s courteous code for “He’s almost 100, not doing so well, and his family would like some much deserved privacy.”
Not to count him out just yet, but it’s safe to say he’s had a VERY full life.

The Desertsun.com- The Mayo Clinic has not yet released any more information on former President Gerald Ford, who was admitted to the Rochester, Minn. location Tuesday.
The 93-year-old is undergoing "testing and evaluation," his Chief of Staff Penny Circle announced Tuesday.
It is not known what ailment prompted the visit. But a longtime friend said the hospitalization was planned.
Circle's office is not releasing any information until early next week. Mayo officials did not specify when the clinic would provide an update on Ford's health.
Ford and his wife, Betty, have lived in Rancho Mirage since leaving the White House in 1977. They have been spending the summer at their home in Beaver Creek, Colo.
